Anthrogen is a VC-backed startup where we work on scalable, carbon-negative polymer production using genetically engineered bacteria and enzymatic cascading. We think such a development is the next frontier for creating any organic molecule - whether that be for carbon capture, energy, industrial, or biotech.
The only way to achieve this ambitious goal is to work together. We need wet lab biologists, computational biologists, ML researchers, chemists, and other technically savvy folks to join us! We’re not super picky about the exact skills you have before coming in - as long as you have a desire to learn, we’d love to have you!
We’re based in SF. Depending on the nature of the work, if relocation is necessary, we will make sure to cover all related costs.
